This is new.

Was at Canary Wharf yesterday -took my favourite Overground from Camden Road (I like that not many people know about it or use it that much heh) to Stratford where the ongoing construction for the 2012 Olympics is taking place. Gosh I wish I could be around in 2012! It should be very exciting (: I then hopped onto the Docklands Light Railway and it took me to Canary Wharf!

And so I set foot onto my 'A' Level Urban Geography case study, and the atmosphere was amazing -I felt EXACTLY (seriously, EXACTLY) like I was in Shenton Way and so I felt very at home there haha!

The Docklands has an fascinating history, and the Museum of London Docklands provided quite a good overview of the area -I can see how amazingly successful the place is now (it's amazing), but I do wonder what happened to all the people and functions pushed out by this new financial hub -the museum mentions them but not in comprehensive detail. And once again, nothing like experiencing a (ex)case study in the flesh (:

But perhaps the most interesting, amazing thing I saw was this:

KIDS ON LEASHES OMG!!!!! Hahahahahaha. I was SO AMUSED and I don't really know what to say about it except that I wonder what the world is coming to.
