Les Miserables

Okay I admit that I spent a lot of time wondering when it was going to wow me. The musical took a long time to climax, but when it did -oh my goodness it was so good. And then it worked its magic all the way until the end.

I can't quite place how Les Miserables is great, I'm not feeling extremely WOWED like I did after Wicked but it's not because it wasn't good, I guess that Wicked was fantastic in a feel-good way? Les Mis affects more subtly, and I guess it's was a somewhat more thought provoking production.

And of course having a stellar cast helped loads too (:

Off to Nottingham for the weekend (to the detriment of my essays, but oh wells. Time in the UK is growing short!)!
