Loser moment of the week

Okay, more like loser moment of my entire LIFE.

I had 3 cans of Campbell soup, and was happily taking one out to attempt to make myself a nice lunch. And then I realised... I didn't own a can opener.

And since we live in the 21st century, I opened my Internet browser and googled for - "How to open a can without a can opener" (where else do you turn to for advice?).

The first search result I got had a video, and I thought -hey that should be helpful! I played it, and a homicidal-looking man with a knife proceeded to stab the can with a knife until he got the can open.

I did attempt to try it except I couldn't get the knife to even pierce through the can lid and then I decided I didn't want to end up creating a bloody mess all over the kitchen.

And so I boiled some water and opened a packet of instant soup instead. Hah.

But anyways I now own a can opener and had my soup tonight! (:
